As a child growing up I had the dream of being a professional photographer. As time passed, I had other plans and ambitions, although photography remained my passion. Later, while attending the University of Winnipeg, I took an evening course in photography through the Winnipeg Art Gallery, and realized that my passion for photography was still strong. I knew then that is what I wanted to pursue.
Photography was not a hobby anymore; it was all that I wanted to do. After that year at university, I was accepted into the Prairieview School of Photography Diploma course. I finally realized my dream, and now have the experience and training I need to reach my full potential. I graduated from Prairieview School of Photography in June 2005 with a Diploma in Photography and look forward to starting my career as a professional photographer.
